Voter to Voter is a get-out-the-vote-effort based on relational politics, getting people you know to the polls.
*) Ambassadors look up people they know (family, friends, neighbors, co-workers) in a voter database to determine those who are infrequent voters.
*) Ambassadors then provide voting information and encourage follow up as needed to assist infrequent voters in voting.
*) Ambassadors are trained in use of the database and online tool, receive regular communications with voting information and motivation tips, and are supported through weekly Zoom meetings, Facebook posts, and website updates.
Time Commitment
The bulk of the work is done the two to three months before the primary through the general election to get new voters registered and registered voters to vote. Volunteers spend as much time as they wish identifying, helping and encouraging their network of voters.
