Our next program is Saturday, September 14. The topic is "Constitutional Convention: How Are Voting Rights Affected?"
 
 Member Linda Trout will lead a conversation with Dr. Matthew Harris. Dr. Harris is the Program Coordinator, Associate Professor of Political Science at Park University. 
 
A short Special Election Meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. Our program will begin at approximately 9:45 a.m.

Membership Team

🤝 New Member Orientation is held quarterly. The next orientation will be November 10, 2024, at the Johnson County Central Resource Center Library at 9875 W. 87th Street, Overland Park, KS. It will start at 1:30 p.m. 

📕 Book Clubs: times and dates for both the Virtual and In Person book clubs can be found on the Events Calendar on our website. The groups are open to all members. Join us for great conversations.

The Virtual book club will complete its deep dive into Heather Cox Richardson’s Democracy Awakening on September 9.

The In Person book club will meet at 1:00 p.m. Sept 10, 2024 to discuss Climate Justice by Mary Robinson et al.
